About
Maya Mowilos
Voice over artist. Broadcaster. Seattle, WA.
A voice built in the booth.
Maya Mowilos performed her first voice over at age 8 at KIIS FM studios in Los Angeles — and hasn't left a professional studio since. Born in Kauai and raised across Honolulu, Los Angeles, Jakarta, and Seattle, she brings a rare combination of broadcast instinct, technical precision, and genuine range to every project.
With her first full-time air shift at 16 and continuous on-air work since 1991, Maya has logged major market stops across the Pacific Northwest and Honolulu — delivering morning, midday, and evening shifts before transitioning to full-time voice over work through Careful Wish Studios.
She holds a Master's degree in Digital Marketing and Communications from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's in Journalism and Communications from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa — credentials that inform not just her delivery, but her ability to understand and improve client copy.
